Ultimate CD/DVD Burner 2007 Editor's Review

'Ultimate CD/DVD Burner' helps you burn your CD's or DVD's. It offers some interesting features. From the 'Advanced options' menu, you can select options like the size of the cache, the volume label, closing the disc after burning, or even creating a bootable disc. The cache can be set from 2 to 64 Mb.

A feature of this program is 'Disc Info'. This shows you information like number of sessions, the amount of information on disc, etc. While testing the program, I've burned a DVD several times in multi session mode. Every time a session was burnt, the previous ones become unavailable. The 'Disc Info' shows me only a session on the disc, even if I've burned three. Even so, the amount of information on disc is the one burned in three sessions.

The user interface reflects the lack of interest from the producer on this aspect. It looks old and without a style.

Pluses: It's a good thing it's free.

Drawbacks / flaws: I couldn't burn multiple sessions.

In conclusion: This is among the worst programs I've seen. If you want to use a free program you could use DVD Shrink.
